Membership Guidelines for Council of International Turbomachinery R&D, Economy and Trade(CITRE)
As an authoritative and professional industrial organization in China's turbomachinery sector, the International Consortium for Turbomachinery Industry, Research, Production and Trade (CITRE) has always upheld the mission of building a collaborative platform for industry, academia, research and application, driving high-quality industrial development, and helping enterprises connect with global resources. We gather high-quality resources across the entire industrial chain and provide member units with comprehensive services including policy interpretation, technical exchange, industry-demand matching, and brand promotion. This guideline is formulated to standardize the membership admission process and clarify the rights and obligations of members.
Membership Eligibility
All legally established entities that endorse the Consortium's Charter, voluntarily fulfill member obligations, and possess a certain scale, influence and good reputation in the turbomachinery industry and its upstream and downstream sectors (including turbomachinery main unit manufacturing, core component production, oil & gas, electric power, new energy, mining, research institutes, testing institutions, etc.) are eligible to apply for membership.
The specific categories and eligibility criteria are as follows::
Ⅰ Deputy Director Member Unit
1. Hold a benchmark position in the turbomachinery industry with leading comprehensive strength, core technologies and independent intellectual property rights, and a brand influence extending nationwide and even globally;;
2. Achieve industry-leading annual output value or revenue, and have practical experience in major projects in application fields such as oil & gas, electric power and new energy;;
3. Be willing to actively participate in the Consortium's work, support the development of all its initiatives, fulfill the duties of a Vice Chairperson Unit, and offer suggestions for industrial development.
Ⅱ Executive Council Member Unit
1. Possess strong competitiveness in niche sectors (e.g., turbomachinery components, system integration, technical services, etc.), with a stable production scale, market share and technological R&D capability;;
2. Attach importance to the coordinated development of the industry, actively participate in academic exchanges, industry-demand matching and other activities organized by the Consortium, and be willing to cooperate in industry research and standard formulation initiated by the Consortium.
Ⅲ Council Member Unit
1. Be legally registered with independent legal person qualification, in sound operating condition, and free of major illegal and irregular records;;
2. Focus on turbomachinery and its upstream and downstream related businesses, with fixed business premises, technical teams or business resources;;
3. Voluntarily abide by the Consortium's Charter, actively participate in various activities organized by the Consortium, and support its development.
Ⅳ Special Invited Member Units
Open to non-production and operation entities such as research institutes, universities, industrial associations, and testing & certification institutions. Applicants shall have profound accumulation and influence in turbomachinery technology R&D, academic research, standard formulation, industrial services and other fields, and be willing to provide intellectual support, technical backing or resource matching services for the Consortium.
Membership Admission Process
Applicant enterprises shall fill in the Membership Application Form in full, and submit the enterprise LOGO (vector format is recommended) and other supplementary materials simultaneously. Please send the following materials (with the official seal of the unit affixed) to the official email address of CITRE in a single submission: turbomachinerycita@163.com.
1. A copy of the business license of the unit;;
2. Enterprise profile (including core business, core technologies, industrial status, representative projects, etc.);
3. Copies of relevant qualification certificates and honorary awards (optional, bonus items).
4. Material Review: Upon receiving the application materials, the Consortium Secretariat will complete the preliminary review within 5 working days, and submit the qualified applications to the Consortium Council for deliberation after approval;
5. Deliberation and Approval: The Council will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the applicant units. Feedback on the deliberation results for Vice Chairperson Units and Director Units will be given within 10 working days, and instant feedback will be provided for General Member Units and Special Invited Member Units upon approval.

Member Management
1. The membership term for all member units is 1 year, calculated from the date of issuing the membership certificate;
2. If a member unit needs to change information such as enterprise name, contact details or business scope, it shall promptly notify the Secretariat in writing for the update of member files;
3. A member unit that intends to withdraw from the Consortium voluntarily shall submit a written application to the Secretariat 30 days in advance. The withdrawal procedures shall be completed upon approval, and the membership fee paid will not be refunded.
