Dongfang Electric has announced a major breakthrough: it has successfully won an order for 20 sets of 50‑MW‑class G50 gas turbine generator units from a Canadian customer.

Recently, 5 sets of 22 MW medium temperature and pressure axial exhaust steam turbine generator units, independently developed and manufactured by Hangzhou Zhongneng Turbomachinery Equipment Co., Ltd., have completed all manufacturing as scheduled and officially shipped to Africa.

Real Ale Brewing Company has installed and implemented CiCi carbon capture technology at its brewery in Blanco, becoming one of the first large-scale craft breweries in Texas to incorporate small-scale CO2 recovery into its operations.

On January 8, 2026, the first unit of the Hong Kong waste-to-energy project, for which Hangzhou Steam Turbine Group (HTT) supplied core steam turbine equipment and full-lifecycle technical services, achieved successful single-unit startup on first trial.All operating parameters of the unit accurately met specifications and remained stable and controllable, marking that the project has officially entered the critical phase of complete unit commissioning. This injects strong “Chinese power” into Hong Kong’s effort to build a “Zero-waste City”.
