The Shangfeng brand traces its roots back to the founding of the Shangyu Fan Factory in 1974. In 1993, the enterprise underwent a joint-stock restructuring and was reestablished as Zhejiang Shangfeng Industrial Holdings Co., Ltd. In 2000, the company was successfully listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, becoming not only the first listed company in Shangyu but also the first in the domestic fan manufacturing industry. In 2013, Shangyu Special Fans Co., Ltd. (founded in 2004) merged with Shangfeng in a strategic alliance. In 2020, the company was renamed Zhejiang Shangfeng Special Blower Industrial Co., Ltd., with a mission to become a respected and trusted leader in China’s high-end equipment manufacturing and integrated service sectors. Today, the company operates under two major fan brands—Shangfeng and Zhuanfeng—and has established independent capabilities in the production of advanced fan systems and supporting equipment.

The company operates two flagship brands, Shangfeng and Zhuanfeng, specializing in the research, development, production, and distribution of a wide range of fan and ventilation products. These include axial fans, centrifugal fans, cabinet fans, mixed-flow and diagonal-flow fans, subway and tunnel ventilation fans, magnetic levitation blowers, single-stage high-speed blowers, multi-stage centrifugal blowers, cooling tower fans, modular air handling units, fresh air systems, fan coil units, air conditioning boxes, a variety of cooling towers, and related accessories such as air outlets, dampers, smoke exhaust valves, fire dampers, electrical control boxes, acoustic silencers, industrial mufflers, acoustic enclosures, and noise barriers. Additionally, the company provides integrated HVAC systems, advanced silencer design, energy-saving fan system retrofits, waste heat and pressure power generation system integration, full-lifecycle equipment management systems, as well as high-tech marine products like winches, cranes, and windlasses.
