CSSC (Chongqing) Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited. Located in Jiangjin District, Chongqing, the company was founded in 1966 and currently has more than 1,000 employees. It is a professional enterprise integrating technology research, product development, manufacturing and service for marine exhaust gas turbochargers, as well as a well-known enterprise in the field of turbomachinery in China.

The company is a national high-tech enterprise, national green factory, national model enterprise for technological innovation, national intellectual property advantage enterprise, and national Little Giant; enterprise of specialization, refinement, differentiation and innovation.

Since 1994, the company has obtained certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and IATF 16949. Its turbocharger products have been approved by classification societies such as CCS and DNV. The company holds the Grade-2 qualification for general contracting of electromechanical installation engineering.

It owns a national enterprise technology center, the turbocharger laboratory of the National Engineering Laboratory for Marine and Offshore Power Systems, the China Machinery Industry Marine Turbocharger Technology Engineering Research Center, and a postdoctoral research station. The company has more than 100 invention patents, 3 awards of the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress, and its products once won the National Silver Medal.
